IYI Party Criticizes AKP’s Sakarli Hidirellez Festival in Samsun

IYI Party’s TBMM Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez shared a video regarding the 25th Sakarli Hidirellez Festival organized by the AKP municipality in Terme, Samsun.

Çömez, claiming that gambling was taking place at the festival, criticized by saying, “It’s called a festival, but it’s actually a fake Las Vegas.”

In his post, Çömez used the following statements:

• Samsun Terme’s AKP mayor is organizing a ‘Culture, Art, and Sports Events Festival.’ It’s called a festival, but it’s actually a fake Las Vegas! Gambling is happening everywhere.
• And the inspectors go and do an inspection, right? Who knows how much money they wasted on this! There is no culture, no art, no sports!
• Everywhere is filled with young people gambling. It’s not just Terme, it’s the same in Alaçam. Look at the state Erdemliler Movement has fallen into!
